New Mills

17 August 2011

Astro Exhibitions are continuing a long history of high quality manufacturing in New Mills, High Peak. Quality construction and manufacturing in New Mills goes back to the industrial revolution, coal mining, cotton and manufacturing were all at the heart of the town during the 18th Century.

New Mills was at the centre of this manufacturing revolution due to its excellent road, rail and canal links. It was served by the Peak Forest Canal, three railway lines and the A6.

Today only two railway lines are still in use and the A6 continues to be the main link Manchester and Buxton. Transport links are important to Astro Exhibitions as we are constantly travelling around the country with our exhibition stands.

We are continuing the tradition of manufacturing excellence through the adoption of modern CNC technology linked to more traditional craftsmanship.  Pre-building stands means that the end result always goes together quickly and accurately on site meaning that we deliver right on time.
