"Would you like ice?" Hoshizaki hope you say yes and that the ice you have will be made in one of their high quality ice making machines in use throughout the world.
The supply of ice to the catering industry is much more complicated than you might think, the purpose of the Hoshizaki exhibition stand was to show just how much Hoshizaki are better than competitors.
To achieve this, HOST in Milan 2011 saw a change of emphasis for Hoshizaki and provides an interesting lesson in the way a stand can be utilised. Hoshizaki decided that as ice use was their end product, rather than show ice making machines they would demonstrate the use of the ice that they produce.
So less ice and more drinks!! A large bar staffed by professional bar staff served cocktails throughout the day (alcohol was only used in the evening!)
This approach was so successful that it will be repeated on the stand we are building for Hoshizaki at Hotelympia 2012.
